Mike Ramirez has 22 years of service as a firefighter and 10 years of experience consulting firefighters. He has been involved with survivors of fallen heroes for the majority of the time. Mike has been a public safety survivor advocate for families throughout the United States; trained by a leading national organization as well as a large department in California. Mike has been able to obtain benefits for the spouses and children of his fallen brothers, even when the odds were against them. He is driven by witnessing departments, independent organizations, and governmental bureaucracies that deny deserving families their rights to financial and educational benefits. During these difficult times Mike has developed positive, working relationships within the different relevant agencies and has been able to work for families with unimaginable results. He started working on benefits for survivors as a way of giving back to those officer who made the ultimate sacrifice. Overtime he began to see the need for professional consulting. Being qualified, experienced, and understanding, Mike knew he was right for the job. He knows that all families deserve the best chance for success, and Mike can truly provide that chance.
